I was tasked with creating a visual identity for Compass’ California Design Summit, an internal event for the company’s designers working out of West Coast offices.
I was inspired by the California coastline and the infinite number of ways I could reconfigure and reshape it into unique formations.
Later, I was given the official theme of the summit, “Yes, No, WOW!” derived from a quote by Milton Glaser: “There are three responses to a piece of design—yes, no, and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for.”
This 42 x 100 inch poster lived on the wall of the main meeting room at the Summit.
